Yes I have and Nope didn't get what I wanted. All they do is forward your complaint in writing and send you their response. That is it! The one good thing is that there will be a record for it for others to see. If I had been smart and checked out the record of these idiots before, I STILL wouldn't be dealing with the crap that they caused.

I did. The company never responded and now they have an unsatisfactory rating.

I filed and got a call from the company (which is a major one). They were annoyed but they were the ones who messed up! I'm glad it's on record!

All you do is fill out the form on line, complete the information, state what happened and they ask you what would your desired outcome be, what are you seeking. You state that. They send that to the company. The company has a certain amount of time to respond I believe 30 days. It is their choice whether or not they will do what you ask- in my case NOPE they didn't! IF they respond the response will be sent to you from the BBB. They take no position IMO they are like the post office, they deliever the complaint and send you the answer and that is that.
But the complaint stays on record of 2 years I believe so that anyone else who wants to check their record can and see what they complaints have been about.
My situation:
We ordered well over 6k worth of furniture from this company (who has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB-- 57 complaints in 2 years!) 90% of the furniture came in damaged. We ordered in May, the delivery was in August and I am sitting here today STILL waiting for them to deliver today another missing piece. I have filed 2 complaints against them with the BBB and basically they just laugh at it.
But the complaint stays on record of 2 years I believe so that anyone else who wants to check their record can and see what they complaints have been about.

Sounds like Route 110...I'm having major problems with them..BUt actually, that's not the company I filed a complaint about.

How unbelieveably annoying. We've been having major furniture issues with Rte110, too! We ordered in August!! And still have not reached resolution (That would be--> OUR FURNITURE IN OUR HOME!)
anyway...My BBB complaint is about one of my wedding vendors. I hope it works out in my favor. I'm so sick of vendors not giving a crap about customers!!!! Scared to make any big purchases!

We delivery just came AGAIN and all pieces were damaged AGAIN-- Guess we are going to court!

I filed a BBB complain about SONY regarding a car stereo I bought and it failed three months later. Anyway they contact SONY who contacted me and tried to use my age (19 or 20 at the time) as the cause of the problem saying I was irresponsible and rough with the equipment.
So it was my fault it was a piece of crap. They said it would be $60.00 to fix it. I ended up getting another stereo off ebay for $50.00
I was upset that BBB didn't come through.

i filed a complaint for Bocu Salon in Commack. longggggggggg story the gist is i got a gift certificate to the place went and had services done they would not honor the gift certificate and made me pay. bbb went and gave them my story and the bocu salon blaitenly lied to them and havent heard back. i've eaten the $127 but will never go there again plus i got a really bad color job to boot! if you call the bbb the charge you $5 to talk to someone live.

I filed a complaint with BBB about a furniture place in North Carolina. I should have checked them out first because if I did, I never would have ordered from them. Apparently, they received hundreds of complaints (they actually had the same business in South Carolina first, and that state banned them from doing business there any longer, and they moved one state up). I was one of the lucky ones - I got a 100% refund. The company had criminal charges brought against it by the attorney general's office. I don't know if anyone else got their money back. I really wanted that furniture though, and by the time I got the money back and could order more, the furniture wasn't available anymore. At least I got a refund!
