Anyone ever see 'Boiler Room'?

I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!

I deal with Brokers all the time and they aren't as fun as those guys!!!!!

Opinions?

I think the movie was awesome.

I really liked this movie!! It's sad that it's based on fact and there are lots of people that lost a lot of hard earned money.

My favorite scene was when the Giancarlo Ribis received a sales call from Newsday and made the guy forcefully make a pitch for a subscription...just as the salesman gets the hang of it. GR says 'No thanks, I already get the times' and hangs up.

Love that movie! It captures those greedy. slimy traders in their full color. I do feel badly for all those who were robbed.

Ben Affleck was great in this movie!

I know one of the brokers that the movie was about. He isn't a broker anymore.

I was a trader at Morgan Stanley and some of it rang true! But I was working as a trader for large companies, so I wasn't screwing people out of $. It is messed up to think about how many people make a living just transferring around $$...

MY DH used to work at a broker house here on Long Island. He quit because he said the job was just like that movie. He couldn't handle screwing people....

He said that it was a totally accurate movie.
