Cruise out of NY? FH & I have been on cruises before, but never out of NY to the Caribbean. V's Valentines Day question reminded me to push for what I really want for Valentine's & my birthday, a a mini moon vacation! I found a great deal (quite possibly a steal) for a 7night cruise out of NY to Bahamas... I was wondering if anyone knew how this could be so affordable...? Is the path from NY south super rocky?

soontobermrsh.... it is totally wortht it to spend the extra 350 espppp if you will get bumped up
Royal Carib is def a better ship in my opinion, better service, prettier ships, slightly better food...i feel like its a little more luxurious than ncl not by much but enough to make it worth the extra money
Royal Carib is also more classic cruising, where NCL is freestyle
so royal carib you eat at a certain time with other couples...ncl you eat whenever, also they have a lot of restaurants that have upcharges, def worth it, but they get you there bc you will almost def want to go to their upgraded restaurants
