Registering for expensive items? I just don't feel right registering for very expensive items like fine china. I want them but am having a hard time having my guests spend houndreds of dollars for dishes. Times are hard for everyone, anyone else feel this way?

Re: ANYONE FEEL GUILTY ABOUT......
I don't feel guilty because people are going to spend what they are going to spend... No one is going to think any diff of you if u have expensive things on your registry people understand that more than one person can chip in for a gift and that family may want to buy the expensive items

I agree with you ladies but I just couldn't shake the feeling of guilt. I guess because I would spend alot of $ on someone else but not on myself.

Well...I didn't even put expensive items on my registry...but people STILL had something to say. I just say put on the items you want. If someone doesn't buy it for you, then you get it for yourself a little later on down the raod. GL!

No, if something is too expensive for someone they don't have to buy it. Plus some people can chip in together to buy the expensive things. Dont feel bad registering for stuff...maybe you won't get everything you asked for, but at least you put it out there!
