Anyone finding it difficult to..

make new friends??
I am in Hempstead/ Garden City and I am finding it incredibly difficult to make new friends. :(
Any suggestions?

Yes I am coming from Detroit and having the same problem!!! Keep flying back and forth and I never have time cuz I am working on the house every weekend. Hopefully this summer!!!

I'm close to you though. FH actually lives in West Hempstead right down the road from St. Thomas--we should get together!

I grew up down the block from St. Thomas in W Hempstead (on Argyle Road). Did your FH grow up there? I wonder if I knew him growing up!

FH grew up on Bedell Terrace--down the block from Reisterer's.

i'm in Carle Place and I'm finding it very hard to make new friends as well.
I feel like once you're out of school it gets so hard to meet new people and spend enough time with them to decide if you're compatible to be friends.

I wish i had advice, but i dont. If you get any good advice pass it on to me!

It is definitely harder once you're out of school.

I agree completely with what everyone has said.

I moved out east to Holbrook with FH a year ago. All of my friends seem to be sooooo far away now. No one ever wants to travel out to see me, i end up going to them. This weekend I must have put on so much mileage on my car

I wish it was as simple as it was in kindergarten when you give someone half of your sandwich and your automatically friends

I keep on hearing past ones mentioned on here but I don't know.
