Hey Girls, was out this weekend with a friends bridal shower and other stuff that kept me away from the computer. Anyone get anything fun accomplished this weekend? I feel out of the loop!!!!!!!!

I did..I picked my bm dress, ordered my 'will you be my bm' cards, ordered the vases, stones and candles for my centerpieces and I started to collect adresses so that I can get ready to send out my stds.

met with a prospective photog. feel i am going to book him after meeting with someone else just to make sure i am making a right decision. that's about it. i try to tackle one wedding thing per weekend hehe

well nothing really related to the wedding but afterwards stuff.... FH and I went to a bunch of open houses.... but everything in our price range is either small, or if not small then needs A LOT of work... so it looks like we'll be saving up for another 6 months before we seriously start to look so we can afford something a little better

Imet with one florist... she works fro her house and was super nice. I didn't book her I still want to check out a bunch more places. I finished regestiering at BBB. And although this was still dreaming... Fh and I sat at the computer for hours looking at homes and dreaming of the kind of place we want it was real sweet and fun.

We are at a standstill with our wedding planning because I am having a DJ crisis and don't want to start anything new until that is settled.

We bought TONS of stuff- plates, napkins, cups, toys for the kids, a light up palm tree, a palm tree cooler, a hula hoop, +++- for our E-party!

What is your DJ crisis?

I actually took epics with a friend of mine who is just starting out in photography. We went to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. It was beautiful but HOT! Hopefully, I'll have pics up soon.

Not for my wedding but for my sister's in 4 weeks.

We ordered the groom's cake. It will be awesome. I helped her with the design.

Went to AC Moore for frames for her DIY centerpieces. Helped her cut out the photos for that. Also got the stuff for her unity candles, paper for her programs, basket for her programs, and other stuff.

She also got the diamond necklace my mom wore on her wedding day plated in rhodium (white gold colored) because my mom wore yellow gold. it was the stone from our great-grandmas engagement ring.

She also got the extra sashes from our bridesmaid's dresses made into smaller sahes for the flowergirl dress.

dont worry i cant find a dj either-then again i only looked at 1 so far..

i dont think i actually did anything this weekend-i worked on my guest list some, but that's about it..

wednesday i have an appointment with a dj though, and im going to try and make appointments with the last 2 djs i want to check out at some point today
