IM GETTING MARRIED AT LANDS END ALSO MY WEDDING IS THE 9TH OF AUGUST AT 11:30 IN THE MORINING. I CAN'T WAIT ITS GOING TO BE SO BEAUTIFUL. WHAT DID U NEED HELP WITH MAYBE I CAN HELP U.

We are getting married at 7:30. I think we are selecting the cappac. linens. What about everyone else? Did anyone go to Audrey's Bakery? If not what cake did you chose? This is soo exciting but so much work.

We just went to Audrey's last weekend and they are so nice! And everthing tastes SO good!! We are doing the Premier wedding cake (see photo), with chocolate cake and cannoli cream filling. YUM!!

Your cake is beautiful!!!!! Is that one of the choices or did you have to pay more? Did you make an appt. to go to the bakery or just walk in? I love it!

We went to Audrey's. I am very glad we did. Thomas is great.

The cake is actually an upgrade but it's only $50 more for the shape and the pearls. We're actually not doing sugar flowers but having the florist use a fresh flower cascade instead.

We have an appointment on Monday. They were so nice! They told me what their hours were and there was no way that we could make it there during the week and on Saturdays I have showers, weddings, etc. for the next two months. She said don't worry and asked when we could come...so nice! I am bringing pics that I printed from this website and i'm so excited! Are you all ready for your big day?

Thanks! Yeah, I am planning from the Washington, DC, area. It's a pain but in some ways it really helps control things. Like, we have to get everything done in a given weekend, so we DO. And that's it. We just cram it all in.

One thing I'll say for Lands End is that they are VERY accommodating to LD brides like me. It's one of the reasons I booked them over other places (that and the fact the place is just GORGEOUS!!)

Audreys was great, but they forgot the fondant bows that were supposed to be on my cake. I paid extra for them too! The cake was still lovely, but it wasnt the exact one I ordered.

We went on Monday. We chose the Simplicity cake. At first we wanted the tiered one with roses, but it was too expensive. We will just get it stacked with some fresh flowers. How are things going with everyone else?

I don't remember what the style is called at all. I think it looked similiar to number 11 or 12 in the Flowerfield book. I just added the bow.

We are going to Land's End on Monday for our last meeting. Any last minute suggestions? I really don't have many questions and I hope that i'm not forgetting anything!
