Anyone going the Bridal Showcase at the East Wind tonight???

Yes my FI and I are going tonight.
We are thinking of having our wedding at East Wind so we figured it was a good idea to attend.
Do you think they will allow us to look at the rooms again
Are you considering an EW wedding also?
When are you getting married?

I am getting married at the East Wind. The showcase is in the Inn in both rooms. What room/building where you looking at ? The East Wind is amazing. I am getting married Nov 19, 2005 so I have a little bit of time. You will get to taste the food tonight and see how amazing everything is. I went to the last one and I am going to this one also. The fashion show is fun also, especially the raffles and free prizes.

We are getting married next September (that is if we can nail down an exact date SOON).
We looked at both The Estate & The Country Garden....but the more I think about it I'm leaning towards The Estate. We are also up-in-the-air between Saturday afternoon & Saturday Night. How about you?
Since you went to the last show....how long did it last? I'd love too see the Fashion Show since I haven't started dress shopping yet and my FI is looking toward to the food tasting! We are going to try to make it out there by 6:00 and have a drink at the bar first. Is your FI coming with you? Would you care to meet us for a drink?
I've heard nothing but great things about EW with one exception (the shrimp was 'fishing tasting'). Have you heard anything bad? It's a big decision to make and a lot of $ so naturally only the BEST will do. We are also considering The Miller Place Inn.....did you look there? Any comments about chosing between MPI & EW?

My family had some of the fish at the Showcase and they said it was good. I am hoping to get their by 6:30. If I get their in time I would love to meet up. It went till about 10 o'clock I think. I am going to be wearing a blue shirt and black dress paints. I have red hair with blond highlights. I will be with my cousin who is MOH and my Fiance. My Fiance is a big Italian guy. I usually try to sit close to the seats for the fashion show, also I like to save seats, because it gets packed and I want to have good seats. Hopefully we can meet up. Hi, I'm a first time chatter, but I had to reply, I'm having my wedding in the Estate in March 2004 I LOVE IT there! I have heard nothing but good things about the food, the staff, everything! Barbara is the banquet manager we are working with and she's very nice and helpful! We had gone to the showcase there in June, and the food was very good, but the vendors they have were only the ones that they recommend, so there weren't many. Also, the bar is a cash bar, so be prepared!

I'll look for you at the show and good idea about saving seats for the Fashion Show.
I will be wearing tan pants with a white golf shirt. I'm also going to be waering my glasses and have long brown hair. My FI is a big guy too - 6 ft with blue eyes and brown hair. FI will also be in tan pants with a blue golf shirt.

I had no idea they are having a showcase tonight. was it advertised anywhere?

I hope you enjoyed the bridal show. I got married there less than 3 weeks ago - they were wonderful. We used all their vendors; Tommy Tunes - had the place dancing all night long. ADA- I just picked up my proofs -they came out awesome. JR Video was wonderful. Sir Oliver was great! We also used 'With All My Heart' , she doesn't advertise flowers at the show but she does flowers - She was GREAT! My flowers were perfect and lasted for a week and 1/2. good luck girls!
