and not using a calligrapher??? I can't afford to use one and my mom thinks it's pointless, will it be tacky to write the envelopes on our own??

Why don't you get clear labels and do the calligraphy font of them...much cheaper them having them hand done

For e-party invites i bought a gold caligraphy pen and hand wrote them. For the wedding ill give it to a caligrapher to do...i was surprised that they actually came out looking real nice, i was afraid bc with my hand writing its hit or miss, sometimes its great other times its not
Print them yourself! I ran our envelopes through the laser printer and they came out great! Download a nice font from dafont or a similar site, and you're ready to go!

yes!! they make clear.. you can hardly tell, they sell them at office max .. i used avery style# 8663 and they have 10 on a sheet. its so easy to print up!!

cool beans!! ohh yea.. if you have the inkjet printer the style is 8663.. but if you have laser it would be the same labes but different number.. just wanted to let you know!!
i also used a calligraphy font and it came out great!! good luck!!

I might do it...not sure if I'll have the patience...I did my save the date envelopes and got a lot of compliments...

Try just setting up your printer so that you can send the envelopes straight through. I did that for my engagement party and FSIL did it for her wedding invites. It comes out very nice.

i learned calligraphy years ago.. and thought about writing out my own envelopes. but if it becomes a problem, or doesnt look as good as im hoping for I am going to run them through my printer using a calligraphy font.
