Anyone have a Bugaboo stroller?

is there a reason u need one???

It is supposed to be very smooth, and very easy to manuever. However, the frog has a two-step fold which sounded a bit pesky to me. If I lived in an elevator building, or had a garage, and was just planning to ride it straight out the door I would have considered it more.

I am planning instead to buy the Mountain Buggy Urban Single (MBUS, about $400). The price range is similar if you bought all of the accessories that the frog has -- but I'm not planning to get the carrycot, so that $160 less money spent. If I'd call the Frog the Lexus LS 430 Sedan of strollers, I'd say the MBUS is the Lexus RX 330 SUV. Its designed to manuever easy, but can go right over curbs/uneven terrain and can be used for jogging.

Note: If you buy the Bugaboo, you can expect a very high resale price when you are done using it. So, it may not be quite as bad as it seems in terms of price. Used Frogs can sell for $600 (crazy I know)!

If you are someone who will be a SAHM and walks everywhere, I can totally see it being worth it. If you are working full time, and will be using just to go to a shopping mall, it would be overkill.

Stroll-Air

We were looking at the Bugaboo and we really liked it. You could see it at Buy Buy Baby if you want. We wound up going with the Stroll AIr though. I found it to be more sanitary as you can wipe the entire thing down because it's leatherette, it has the basinette, it's a stroller and a car seat carrier, it has the footmuff, an umbrella and a diaper bag, same as the Bugaboo. And it's about $100 cheaper. It's metal so it's sturdy, but it should be easy handle.... Baby will be here anyday, but I really like the carriage so far...
