North Ritz Club, Watermill, Milleridge Cottage, Areca, The Meadow Club, Westbury Manor or Sans Souci? These are some of the halls Im going to. If there are negatives I'd like to here those just as well. If you have any pictures of the rooms set up please forward them. Looking at an empty room and being told how it will look is never as good as seeing it for your self. I would love it if you could peak at the rooms while an actual wedding is going on. Jericho Terrace is the only place I knew that did that!

North Ritz is where I had my wedding. I'm going to be biased because of that. This place was great! The best part was the one wedding at a time. I didn't want to share my place with anyone on my wedding day! I'll upload some pics!
the rooms upstairs at the watermill are very nice. (there are no windows in the room downstairs). hope this helps a little.

Tons of weddings on these boards at the places you have mentioned. Rather than get a limited set of responses, you might be better off to do individual searches on each site (see the good and bad). Good luck!

I am going to be biased and say Watermill. Thats where I got married. Was the only bride there (sunday night) and I had the downstairs room. Didnt bother me at all that we had no windows. I do think a lot more brides are mentioning that today. I also looked @ Harbor Club, Window on the Lake, Fox and Crest Hollow, which all had BEAUTIFUL views but we still picked the WM. The room was just breathtaking and nobody was squished. We had more than enough room. Ive been on here (LIW) for a while now and I will try to upload pics..(LOL still havent figured it out, but I will try)

I got married at Milleridge Cottage, which I loved, no complaints at all and went to a wedding at Westbury Manor, which was also very nice...I think both are beautiful.

My cousin got married at the Milleridge Cottage. I loved the place- cocktail hour was great with lots of food- I don't remember the meal but I am sure it was good.

My reception was at Areca and it was awesome! I can not say enough about them - service, food, decor - everything was wonderful. We had the CH in the restaurant and the reception in the ballroom. My wedding was over three months ago and I am still getting compliments from some very hard to please people. My review is on the review board along with links to some photos (I think I put the Areca photos in the links). FM me with any specific questions.

Thanks it does help. Like I said, good bad and bias is great. I want to know what you really thought even if it was bad, some people couldn't understand why I'd want to find bad reviews and were affended by reviews I gave of places I went because they were getting married there and their feelings were hurt which were not my intention at all!

What was the staff like? Where they difficult? I've been hearing more complaints about staff then anything else. Is it reasonable? And not to be a pest but did you get everything you were promised?

We are having our wedding at The Meadow Club and have been very happy with them. All of the brides I've talked to have been really happy with having their receptions there.

I've been to 3 weddings at the Meadow Club and I have absolutely NO complaints about any of them. It's very nice there and the food was great.

I got married at Westbury Manor and I was a bridesmaid in a wedding at North Ritz Club. Having read your other thread about halls, I'd say that North Ritz Club is more for you than Westbury Manor is.
NRC is one wedding at a time and the wedding I was in was magnificent! The food and service were both impeccable and I know that the bride and groom had no complaints - and that's what really matters.
Went to a wedding at the Meadow Club and the Millerridge. Been to affairs at the watermill. I liked the food best at the Millerridge. Their cocktail hour was awesome, and the viennese was awesome too! All of these places are nice. I did not like that the meadow club had several weddings going on at a time.

I never had a problem getting anyone on the phone. They used to be closed on Mondays but I'm not sure if they still are. Call and ask to speak to Andre. I think they open around 11AM.

Of course I vote for Watermill..I have been a wedding there and am getting married there. The main resons were the staff attentiveness...we get so many people as far as waiters etc that I knew things would flow smoothly...The food was some of the best we ever tasted and the decor was more our style then other places...I was VERY picky...I turned down places just based on dance floors...and I'm excited about getting married there. There were places decor wise we loved a little more, but heard bad things about Food etc so we stuck with the place we heard nothing bad about plus loved.
Have you gone to all the places you mentioned yet?
