Please help, I am trying to plan how much cash to have the day of the wedding for tips and final payments etc. Does anyone have the appropriate tip amounts for your vendors. For the maitre'd the hall recommends $3-5 dollars, Bridal Attendant???, DJ, Photo, Video, Limo's (gratuities included with limo, but how much extra the day off???) If you Photo and video is from the same company, do you tip both separately???

Look on wedding channel or the knot-- I think they have some tip articles there to help you.
I would plan on having AT LEAST 1000 in cash.

I prepared envelopes with the final payment (mostly checks) and a cash tip for each vendor. I placed a small piece of tape to seal the envelopes, so that I can open if need be and easily add or deduct from the cash tip, depending on the service. I got some guidelines from an old thread on here, and also on theknot.com, as well as a martha stewart website. Sorry I don't have the addresses right now, they are on my work computer. But, you don't want to be dealing with paying everyone that day so prepare envelopes, give them to the best man or someone else you trust with pockets, and have them dole them out...
