Anyone having a Money/Card Bag?

I see most brides are having some sort of box for the cards at the reception.

Is anyone getting a money bag? It is a white decorated bag that you put the cards in. It is like a big satin purse bag.
Or is it because there would be so many cards it would be too heavy?

I had a friend that was at a wedding and the bag was stolen.

THE BAG WAS STOLEN???

THat's terrible! I hope most people gave checks.

I would think someone should watch over the bag. I guess it would be easier to take a bag, although it is a decent size bag, then to take one of the treasure chests or special boxes.

My mom is making my money bag as we speak!! It's a family tradition that she makes our money bag for us!

Ya just jam 'em in there!!! They'll fit!!!

I had a money bag too. My grandmother died the April before my wedding, when we were cleaning out her house, we found her money bag, so we started a new tradition. I used it and then my sister and cousin can use it when they get married. I loved it!

My DH's Greek grandmothers friend made us a beautiful money bag. I gave it to my grandma to hold and watch all night bc i knew she'd guard it w/ her life.
