Anyone having a ring bearer (or FG) and their parent (s) in the BP??

I want to ask my MOH to have her son as our ring bearer but was wondering if that would be asking too much financially. Your thoughts....anyone?

the best man is my FH's brother. we're also having his wife as a BM and their daughter as flower girl.
my cousins two kids are also in the BP.
and my FH's cousins two kids are also in the BP.

I had 4 fg's in my wedding. One was my niece and her mother and father were in the BP as well (bro and SIL), one was my friends daughter and both her and her husband were in the bridal party and the last 2 are DH nieces and their parents were in the BP. I dont know if it was tough financial situation for any of them, but I felt the need to pay for one of the FG dress to help out one of the couples. I dont think the dresses I picked were too expensive either.

Yes. My FH's brother is a groomsmen and his daughter is our flower girl.

Yes, FH's brother will be a groomsman, his niece will be a jr. BM and his nephew will be the ring bearer

I'm having my sister in the BP and my two nieces (her daughters) I am helping my sister out with the girls dresses and I just got them mini tiaras. My sister and her family libe in Fla so them flying here is a big expense.

I am having a few families in my wedding party.

My brother & his wife along with their 2 children.

My FH's brother & his wife along with their 3 children.

It is a financial strain on both families. I am paying for the flowergirl dress, and 2 of the junior bridesmaid dresses.

Maybe you could offer to pay for the ring bearer tux rental.

If it would mean a lot to you to have both of them in your bridal party, then I would ask your MOH and explain that if she feels that it's too much of a financial burden, she is under no pressure to accept. IMO she will appreciate your thoughtfulness and will be touched that you asked.

We are having FH's brother as his Best Man, and his brother's adorable little son as our RB.

I had my brother, his wife, and 3 children (jr. bridesmaid, flower girl & ringbearer) in my wedding party. Financially it put them in a tough situation. The expenses can really add up, not only for their wedding attire, but they will probably get involved in throwing your bachelor & bachelorette parties, your bridal shower, also if you are having guests stay at a hotel they will probably want to be included, and they'll want to give you a nice wedding gift. If I could do it over again, I would have asked my brother first, letting him know that I would be honored to have them all involved, but also let him know that I understood if they couldn't. I wound up offering to pay for a the children, to try and lessen expenses.

I did. My brother walked me down the aisle, his wife was a BM, his daughter was a JBM and his son was a ringbearer. I paid for the kids' attire.

my sister is moh, her husband is one of the gm and their daughter is the fg.....

if you think it may be too much financially you could always help out with the cost of the outfit the child will be wearing..

My sister is my MOH and her husband is a GM and their 4 kids are also in the wedding party! The whole entire family is in our wedding party. We are buying our Flowergirl, which is their daughter her dress to try and take some of the strain off, the rest are boys.....

We are having two families in our BP. We will pick reasonably priced attire to help with the cost.

Ringbears parents (mom & dad) are in BP.
Flowergirls father is best man.

I don't think it's huge, they only need to get a dress/tux. But ask and don't be offended if they say no.

I am having my MOH's daughter as our FG, I would ask your MOH for her opinion, if it's too much on her, she'll probaly be honest with you!

My brothers: GM
My nephew: jr. GM
My niece: FG
FI brothers: GM
FI niece: Jr. BM
FI nephew: ring bearer
