I've been dieting like crazy and I think it's starting to pay off! I pulled out a pair of pants I haven't worn to work in a long time and they're soooo loose on me today. It stinks to not be able to eat all my favorite yummy foods but this makes it worth it! Anyone else feel the need to pat themself on the back????

I feel the same way...when I started dieting I wore a size 16. I went into Ann Taylor Loft yesterday nigh to get some capris....the size 4 was TOO BIG, but the size 2 was too small....so I bought dresses instead. I was sooo happy with myself!

Weight Watchers and I stopped going out to eat. I measure all my food to control my portions. I also walk. (I dont go to the gym regularly, maybe once a month).

and i REALLY started my salad diet since January...
my waist has shrunk from a 35 to a 32 my hips have shrunk from a 43 to a 39
i only go to the gym once a week with FH when im out by his house...
so ill take the results.... eating less all day pays off and Once u get used to it, it becomes REAL easy.

Re: Anyone having any Diet Success??
Since New Years I have lost 45 pounds. ( I was WAYYYYYY over weight) I never thought that I could lose as much as I have....I still want to lose a bit more and tone up but my friends and family can't get over how much weight I have lost....I can't wait for EVERYONE to see me at my wedding.
On a down note, I can't believe how some people I am close to have not even mentioned my weight loss and how others have made snide comments hinting that I must be doing something unhealthy. (I eat mostly veggies now, and do at least 4 hours of cardio a week, plus weights, basically just working my butt off) Why can't they just be happy that I am healthy now

Re: Anyone having any Diet Success??
I think I am doing good I tried on a pair of dress pants that I just couldn't get into and even close them and they are on and I can close them not loose but not tight so I think I am doing well and I have lost about 8 pounds still have a way to go but I think I will get there if I can just stop snacking my darn co-workers stay bringing some form of junk food in the office

Unfortunately, despite all the work I've been doing, I'm still fat. Medication has its ups and downs.
Congrats to everyone else.

Re: Anyone having any Diet Success??
I just noticed that i seem to be getting some definition on my stomach!!! I met with a trainer in early april, and he showed me how to do exercises properly. I have been working out though since january, weights and cardio 2-3 a week. really, 2x a week until april when i stepped it up to 3. and I wasn't doing ab exercises until april! so I guess the cardio is paying off, and showing whatever was there before. it feels AWESOME to see a difference!!!
