I feel a bit uneasy about the Lennards. I feel like i am not doing enough Is anyone else having the same feeling???

Not doing enough how? A friend of mines mom is very good friends with a BM there and she recently went to a wedding there and said it was beautiful

food wise i he the complete upgrade package and the full v-hour.. my FI wants 'candy' they said they don't do that and bringing outside vendors looks kind of tacky...like i went to a wedding a russos on the bay a few weeks ago they do this whole big production for the v-hour with baked alaska, and all these fancy things but even with the upgraded package at lennards they don't do anything like that.. it just doesn't feel like enough..

i was a BM in a wedding there the food was good, they have nice scenerary for beautiful pics outside and inside.

Sorry Im jumping on your boards... (I am an 06'er) Im getting married at Leonards... I wouldn't worry... I only heard great things about Leonards. Who is your BM?

i think the set up is great and the presentation is great also i was just a lil disappointed in the v-hour.. there isn't like anything that would stand out

Sorry I'm stepping in this board too- I'm getting married at Leonards too- I am having the vienesse hour-and honestly, i think they have everything..... if you compare russos to leonards, there is MORE, but not everyone is goin to essentially like everything.... i heard the vienese hour at leonards is great tho.....

I just had my wedding on Sat and Leonards and let me tell you they are AWESOME people have not stopped calling raving about the food and service they are top notch everything yu ate was delicious I cant sy anything but good things about them and though their venetian hour is different then Russos it it still plenty and outrageous you ladies are in for a GREAT time do not worry you are in good hands and wait until you see the size of the shrimp they are monsters!

i am also having my wedding @ leonards - i upped my package as well. i have so much food i get full reading the pages!!
i also have the full vienese hr - and there is so much stuff. besides the standard pastry's and cakes, i have a zeppole station, ice cream bar, cordials, crepes, and a ton of other stuff.
i have also been to 100 different functions @ russo's and i kow what you mean about being overwhelmed w/ sweets - but i think you will be just fine w/ leonards.....tell fh not to worry....

Thanks you so much for you info on Leonards. I am having my wedding there on Sept 16, 2006 and I too was a bit worried. Nice to hear that the shrimp were huge b/c I opted to have the raw bar at my wedding and the v-hour as well.

I am having my wedding at Leonard's as well next year and I have been there before for weddings. The cocktail hour was always excellent and so was the v-hour. If you feel that you don't have enough or want more in the v-hour you can add a chocolate fountain for a pretty low price. They have the fountain at Leonards so you dont even have to use an outside vendor. That is what I did!
