I have the number but I just wanted to know at what point in the wedding you had/will be having him come in to make an appearance... is it cocktail hour? during the cake cutting? should i check w/ my hall first to see approx. what time the cake cutting would be BEFORE i contact Mr. Met?

Not at a wedding but he was at a miztvah that i worked at.
Mr. Met came out during desert right after the montage was shown and stayed for about.. 15 min
we are..he told us that the latest he would come is 930..so thats when hes coming...

I hired him for FH's 30th this past November. He has to leave by 10pm...kind of s*cks if you have an evening wedding.
Call and see if they have your date available, when I checked in November, I was told that they were not booking 2009 dates until the game schedule was released.

Originally I really wanted to do this, but now that FH and I have tighter finances this will be one of the first things to get cut.
But I would love to have him there - most likely I will do it during cocktail hour because once the reception starts there is so much to do and I don't want ppl to be distracted by him.

I was thinking about doing it for our RH, but I'd be divorced before the wedding.. FH is a diehard Yankee fan and I'm the Met fan..lol

I had Mr. Met at the wedding. It was $ 500 for an hour. You pay him in cash at the wedding. We had him at the cocktail hour and the guest loved it.

hi girls, i wanted mr. met at my wedding too. but it wasn't possible for a million reaons. i did though get a mr. met grooms cake made and suprised my FH at the rehersal dinner. there's a great baker in east meadow who does all sorts of nutty cakes. FM me if you'd like any details.
