I am already over all the drama that wedding planning brings...

had i known that the people i least expected would start acting crazy or shady...

I would have just gone to Vegas!!!

i wish we could skip all this junk and just go on the HM ... i think it would be easier to plan if i had unlimited funds!!! that usually brings the most stress.

I hear you. Sometimes I just wanna skip the wedding and go straight to Europe on our honeymoon! But I think the wait and stress will be worth it in the end!

I know I may be in the minority but I havent had any real issues. I guess b/c everyone knows Im a psycho so they keep their opinions to themselves.

I think about it all the time especailly when you realize how much money its costing lol but then I remember how important it is to have eeryone you care about....yea it sux when people give there oponions when they no nothing lol but on that day it will all be worth it(it better be worth it after spending 2 yrs dealing with stupid drama).... I tell FH every week that Im soooo ready for our honeymoon

we are still kinda talking about doing a cival ceremony now or as soon as FH can come home from Ft. Bragg to get paperwork with addoption stuff rolling.

We are still going to have the 'real wedding' 7/11/09 but with military paperwork and other stuff it may just be easier to get it out of the way sooner rather than later.

i will be honest girls. i was married on december 31, 2007 in niagara falls, ny. Our witnesses were a couple and their family that we asked to be our witnesses. A VERY close BM was ordained online and married us. We then went to dinner on top of the Skylon Tower (rotating restaurant on the Canadian side). We ended the night with the free concert on new years' eve in front of the falls.

it was the PERFECT day/night ever. It also alleviated the stress of the whole 'wedding day nightmare' situation (i have severe attention issues).

it gave me a sense of 'power' on the big day (january 20th, 2008). Dave, Katie and i had this little secret that only 5 people knew.

i would not change it for the world....this is what worked for me - but i know it wouldn't work for a lot of people...

just wanted to share my story.

oh god i had so many moments of this, i think we all do at one point or another. Just hang in there, i promise the day of that its all worth it. All the drama you dealt with when planning will just be a thing of the past and the day of all the drama and BS will be worth it bc it truly is the best day of your life.

I remember these feelings and all the overwhelming stress and bs you deal with. Just dont pay attention to the crazy ppl, laugh it off and just think how crazy they are, i laugh now thinking about some of the crazy things people said and did. You do see peoples true colors during this, but remember that even though some will surprise you in a bad way, there are those who will go above and beyond for you and will really touch your heart, so try to think of just that and remember the good. Also remember things will go wrong, some small and some big. Learn to let the small things go and just know in the end it will all work out.

It will all be fine in the end when things go wrong and ppl upset you, focus just on the fact that you are marrying your best friend and the love your life

Sometimes I wish we had eloped too! Then there are other times that I am really excited about everything...What I think may have been better would have been to have a shorter engagement. I am so over listening to everyone's opinions.
