I think we may have a winner! It's absolutely beautiful, the only thing I'm concerned about is the room - they said if you have around 80 people, they block off half the room, and I really think the half they give you is too small! But if you have more than that, you get the full room which is gorgeous!
I wonder if I'll have luck getting them to give me the full room even if we don't have quite as many people? (Maybe if we add some extras or something?)

Re: Anyone know about the Three village Inn?
Oh, and does anyone know anything about the place? Positive or negative? Thanks!

Re: Anyone know about the Three village Inn?
We having around that many people and also looked at TVI. We were also told they would close off half the room. I wasn't crazy about that because they told us the bar would be against the room divider which meant people would have to practically cross the dance floor to get drinks. If you go with them I would make sure to have them put the bar somewhere else.

My mom is having my bridal shower there.. shhhhhhh i'm not supposed to know. BUt the place is great, and I have been there for dinner and so have my paretns many times. I live in the stony brook area so I often pass by and see people taking wedding pictures.

I was told the absolute max for the half a room (which I didn't like, and I wouldn't book without a guarantee that we would have the whole room) was 80 people. So if we're above that, we should have the whole room. I hope that's true, because the full room is beautiful (but the half room is really too small for 80 people)

Re: Anyone know about the Three village Inn?
This is the full room - they had the back section (the section with the white tables) set up for a business meeting or something, so I didn't see the room's full effect (the dance floor wasn't down either - I'm also planning on sending my mom to see the room with the dance floor)
The back section is the part that supposedly fits 7 tables - you can't see it well, but I think there are 6 in that picture - and they seem to be spaced ok, but the dance floor isn't down. With 7 tables, PLUS the dance floor, there really would be NO room.

My shower was there, too. I loved it!

Re: Anyone know about the Three village Inn?
We were going to book there, there were two really minor issues that we had- our guests had to walk through the dinner crowd to get to the reception room and there is no private bridal suite. I was absolutely in love with that place and the whole issue was more on DH's end. Other than that, the food is great, it is so romantic and cozy!

....I think there is a bridal suite? They showed me one at least (I mean, it was only a room, but it was private - it was one of the hotel rooms converted to a bridal suite) Maybe it's new.
I do see your point about the dinner crowd though - I think I can overlook that, since once they're in the room, it's contained, and they don't have to walk back into the dining room after that (except of course to leave)

Re: Anyone know about the Three village Inn?
We looked there and decided not to book for the same reason. We had under 80 people and the room seemed WAY too small. I've been to several parties there and the food is great. We wound up at Beach Club Estate which has the same look as the Three Village Inn but has a bigger room. Good luck with your planning!
