Anyone know anything about MP3 Players???

its not the best, its just the 'coolest.'
THey have the best design, they look the nicest. In terms of play quality, I don't think they are any different than some of the others. You should check out Dell and SOny.
The think I don't like about the ipod is you can only get music with itunes, you can't use any other service like napster or yahoo music.

yes you can, you just have to burn a cd. its not much different from itunes, its just an extra step.

i hear ya...but i think with a sony or dell, its the same thing - you can't download directly onto the mp3 player.

I was just saying there are other options out there. What do you want to use it for?

I don't think the IPOd is the best its just that Apple is the best at advertising their product so their is more public awareness


FH bought me an 'I River' for X-mas last year and I love it, you can download MP3 files right from your computer, I can store files, and my favorite feature that I don't think the IPod has is the radio. I like the fact that I can listen to my MP3s or the radio.

It just depends on what you want.

i have an ipod and i had a dell dj...let me just say that once my ipod dies i'm going back to Dell because that was the best! i never had any problems with mine, easy to use..loved it! The only reason I don't have it still is because my ex stole it from me..
