How did you decide which Sandals to go with? We are stuck between the Grande and the Regency

Re: Anyone know anything about St. Lucia
The Regency is supossedly the more luxorious hotel and with the 65 percent deal going on and the 250 dollar spa credit really couldn't pass it up. My sister stayed at the Grande and loved it there but we got a really good deal on the supossed 'better' location. I don't really see any difference between the two but took the word of our travel agent who has been to both. I love the fact that we can go to all 3 sandals locations which we plan on taking advantage of. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

We're spending 6 nights at the Regency and 3 at the Grande... clearly I can't help with making a decision!

Re: Anyone know anything about St. Lucia
I'm staying at the Regency!! I can't wait. Fh and I were just talking about this last night. I really want to extend the trip. We arn't doing Christmas or b-day gifts so I think we owe it to ourselves to add a fwe days!!! We'll see I guess.
We booked the HM beachfront walkout with Conceirge service. CAN'T FREAKING WAIT!!!!
Re: TOURS: I have been to St.Lucia before on a stop with a cruise. Don't feel the need to book all your tours through Sandals. When you go into town there will be TONS of tour guides begging for your business. You can negotiate with them and get a much better price than Sandals. There are some that are shady so you have to be careful. However there are others that are 'real businesses'.. not just some guy with a car willing to take you where you want to go/do things. Go for the people they are regulated by the government it is safer.
