Ok, so this is what I have SO FAR. its not done yet. I will be adding rose pedals to the inside of the vase thingy and also sprinkling them at the base of the vase thingy.
Looks great so far! I'm doing something very similar. I was wondering since you're using colored candles are they scented? I got a lot of responses about not using them because people think they interfere with tasting food, but no one seems to worry about the fragrance of their 100s of flowers, which it seems to me pose just the same issue. And I really like the look of color better. Just curious.
I heard the same thing about scented candles changing the taste of food. Although I think the smells wont be THAT strong because the reception hall is big, I dont want to chance it. Instead we found fall colored unscented votives for MUCH cheaper on njcandle.com.
