anyone not have their first dance song yet?

We have been going back and forth with a few that we like but I haven't had one that just struck me the right way, know what I mean?

For those of you who found 'the song', how did you find it? Did you pick a song that had significance in your relationship or just a song you really like?

FH and I keep going back and forth as well. We are looking at four choices:

1) I gotta Be by Jagged Edge
2) If you say my eyes are beautiful by Whitney H. and Jermaine J.
3) Hold me in your eyes by Whitney H. and Teddy P.
4) Whenever you Call by Mariah Carey

We didn't know what song it would be for sure until a couple of weeks before our wedding.
We ended up just picking a song we both really like.

We haven't either, and we would like to take dance lessons soon...So, I'm reading all your suggestions and FH is making a CD of suggestions

We just picked it: 'I Will' by the Beatles and told the DJ today....hopefully FH will not change his mind and go back to Kermit the Frog 'Rainbow Connection'.

we were going back & forth on this for a LONG time.......

we picked our song because originally (before the place closed) - we were having a movie themed wedding at a theater type place....so our song is in a movie, American Wedding & we are re-creating the dance from their first dance....should be nice...

it's just our nod to the ORIGINAL wedding we were going to have.... VERY few people at the wedding will get it....but we will...

We went back and forth between three songs for about 6 months.. then one day FH and I were in the car going to his parents in the Pocanos and we heard 'Open Arms' by Journey and we just looked at each other (it was at a stop light so it's perfectly safe to do that at the time) and we both said 'this is it!'. It describes our relationship (there was a point in time where we didn't think we were going to get back after breaking up for a week) perfectly.

The other song we really liked was 'Luna' by Smashing Pumkins but we're going to use that for our cake cutting instead.

I love so high! That was my friends first dance song and it was so beautiful!

This was one the first things we picked when we fist got engaged. It's not a typical wedding song but the lyrics are perfect. It's from Red Hot Chilli Peppers. It's called Hard to Concentrate.

We don't have a song yet, either. We are starting our dance lessons in the beginning of March, so we're hoping to get ideas from other couples there when they bring in their wedding songs. FH listens to his stocks on Sirius all day which is SO not gonna help us choose a song LOL!
