My FI and I are flip/flopping on whether or not to have a FG and RB. They are cute and all but I feel awkard about asking parents to shell out money for the outfits.
What's everyone else doing?

We're having them, but one of the girls and the boy are using a previously purchaised attire, so only one girl's mom had to buy something.
They don't exactly match, but according to FMIL, they don't clash either...
If you think you may want to have them, perhaps the parents can buy the girls outfit on post-easter dress sale now, and then only the boy has to buy the suit.

I am 99% sure we are not doing either. Mainly b/c although they (my FH's niece and nephew) would look adorable at the ceremony, we do not wants kids at the reception. This may be fine in most cases - just send them home. But they are from PA! and the parents are staying for the reception so where would they go? So, in short, I think we need to forget about it.

we're not doing either. between our friends and familys, we have about 8 little girls all wanting to be flower girl and rather than choose between them, we told them all no.

We are having a ring bearer (FH's half brother) but not a flower girl because we don't have any little girls in the family. Our friends little girl is only going to be 1 and a half when we get married and I think that's a little too young.

Not having either, either. FH has 14 neices and nephews. His sister had them ALL in her wedding (well, except the 3 who weren't born then) and we don't feel fair asking some and not all, so we decided not to ask any. FH is having all his brothers in the BP, so they have to shell out for tuxes, we didn't want them to have to shell out for the kids too.

Having one child at the wedding and that is our FG. We had to have her...she will be my SIL and is only 3 1/2!!!
