Re: Anyone not having Limos?
We're definitely having them because we're getting married in a church, then taking pics, and the RH is at least 35 minutes (more with Friday night traffic) away. We didn't want the BP to have to find a way to get around.
We are getting our own car for FH and I, so if we had to cut anything, we would have cut out our own car and just gone with one limo.
I would highly recommend that you contact Double Diamond Limos - they have a great fleet and even better prices. They may be able to give you a price that works!
Of course, if you're getting married at your RH, you really don't need limos.

Re: Anyone not having Limos?
I'm geting married at the RH, so I don't need a limo. Might just get a town car to take us to the hotel afterward. Guests will be shuttled in a bus.

We're not. Ceremony and reception are at the same place, and there will be a shuttle for guests....So at the end of the night we'll either hop in the shuttle or catch a ride to the hotel.
Wasn't worth the money for a limo

I agree!! Double Diamond is reasonable and the owner is a sweetheart to work with!! But if you are getting married at the reception hall, then limos are unnecessary!! GL!

We're not, as we're getting married and having the reception at the same place. Seemed like a needless expense, and we've been trying to stick to a very low budget.

Re: Anyone not having Limos?
we are getting married at the RH, we will probably hire a town car to take us to our hotel but we aren't getting limos or buses for anyone else because there is an event after mine and people can't leave their cars in the (small) parking lot.

Re: Anyone not having Limos?
We were going to go without. Our church is a 5 min walk from the reception.... and I love the pics of NYC bridal couples walking down the street
HOWEVER, that all changed once I tried on my gown. It would be TRASHED if we didn't have a limo. And if it rains, I'd look like a drowned rat.... not to mention I'd be really stressed the 2 weeks prior to the wedding, and checking weather.com every 5 min
to me, $700 is worth my sanity

Re: Anyone not having Limos?
maybe I misunderstood....
are we talking about specifically a stretch limo, or are we talking about limo service (any formal car driving us about- which is what I thought we were discussing)?

Re: Anyone not having Limos?
Nope.. i think my dad is driving me to the recpetion hall .. from the hotel and then just getting a livery service to pick us up at the end.. and at the end we have a classic van to drive our bridal party back ..its costing like $100 bucks we dont' have the extra $1200 laying around for the limos

Re: Anyone not having Limos?
well, if we don't get approved for the big loan from the credit union, we won't be having limos. but we're still waiting to hear back from them about whether or not we're approved...

Me neither. As others above, the ceremony and reception are at the same site.
