Is anyone not having a RD? I was not planning on one since we are not getting married in a church or do we have a huge bridal party. It is only MOH, BM, junior BM and flower girl. Do we really need to have one?

We are kinda in the same boat. I dont have a large BP either...3 girls and 3 boys (and thats including MOH and BM)..we are going to have a quick Rehersal at the reception hall..and then maybe a BBQ with close friends and family...nothing big. I dont think its necessary..but nice, if you can do it.

i wasn't planning on one .. i mean we are getting married at the hall too .. and no one has offered to pay for a RD and i just don't have the extra $$ for it but i guess we'll see ... UGH is it July 5 yet so i can be on my honeymoon already ...

I was wondering the SAME thing? do we do a RD if I am not using a church? just marrying at the Harbor club?

Nope not having one. Why? No money for it, seems to be a waste. We have a large BP but still don't see the need. Due to people traveling my bach party will actually be the day before my wedding and the rehearsal will take place about 30 minutes prior to walking down the aisle. Makes sense to me....

we're just having the bridal party over for dinner at our home... (yes, we WILL cook the meal ourselves!) Our bridal party only consists of 3 people + their significant others, so it will be rather intimite....

We are doing the same thing. Our bridal party is 5 girls & 5 guys and 2 flower girls.Since we are paying for most of our wedding ourselves, we decided that we would rather a have a nice relaxing BBQ, the afternoon before our wedding and this way the kids that will be at the wedding can run around & play.
