... and if you didn't, what kinds of gifts did you get? i was just engaged the end of april and between buying a coop, working full time, and starting grad school, the wedding is actually the last thing on my mind, and so i never got around to registering. ... so has anyone else not registered?

we lived together for two years before we got married but we registered for new stuff because both families kept asking what we needed and they were going to get us stuff anyway. We will be donating our old stuff to a women's shelter or a shelter that promotes people getting back on their feet. The stuff we had was not bad, but it was not top quality either, so I registered for all kitchen aid stuff that way I know it would last. honestly I didn't think anyone would get it for us but that is what went first. Food Processor, Blender, Hand Mixer, Toaster, FIL got us the big mixer (he works for Kitchen aid, so we didn't have to put that on there) We also put china on there too, but we will use it, I know some brides say they won't so they don't get it. Whatever you think you need, new everyday glassware, flatware, ect.
People are willing to get you whatever you like, they expect it. HTH

yeah, it would definitely be nice to get better stuff, ut i'm sooo lazy right now and do not have the energy to register (actually i already sent out my invites so it's too late anyway) but thanks. hopefully, i wont get a bunch of different towel sets :)
