Re: anyone on a diet?

I lost 45 lbs since May on Weight Watchers. The past two months have been the hardest, only lost 7 pounds. I have to get back to eating more healthy again... I just don't want to

Well I did it! I finally got off my arse and did one of the FIRM tapes and I have to say I'm beat! But I feel really good! I'm going to try and keep this up!

Thanks for the encouragement! And don't worry I know we are all going to look GORGEOUS on our wedding day regardless of where we are at our weight loss!

Re: anyone on a diet?

i just got back from class and was going to tell you to doooo the firm....but i see that u went ahead and did it.

just think if u work our BEFORE thanksgiving...u won't feel as bad eating all the yummy stufff!!!! and won't have to like lose extra weight to get back to where u were..that's the way i look at it

and just make little goals...like just say ull work out 5 times before thanksgiving or something and itll be turkey day before u know it!

I know! I feel like a little bit of an outsider. I'm actually in Bayside but I commute, it's a really nice gym, you should join!

Re: anyone on a diet?

5 years ago I went on a major diet and exercise routine. I would say in a year and a half - 2 years I lost 60 pounds. I cut out all fast food and junk food and i did the windsor pilates tapes at home. After I lost about the first 30, i changed the diet routine. I would strongly stick to the diet during the week, but on the weekend I would treat myself to what I wanted (without going crazy). That helped my sanity when i really wanted ice cream or french fries! I havent really lost any since, I started going frequently to the gym again and I started the Special K 2 week diet yesterday, So we'll see how that works out. Since I lost the 60, its been hard to lose any more.. I have been at the FREAKIN PLATEAU forever!!

I'm pretty thin, I guess, but I've gained 5 pounds since I got engaged 2 months ago! It's like, 'I've already snagged me a man... pass the brownies over here!' I used to be a real gym rat, and I just don't have the time lately - between work and grad school and... um... LIW (let's face it!), I only go about once every ten days or so. I'm so bad! I know someone mentioned having a diet buddy - anyone want to be a virtual workout buddy? Like, we could report to each other how much time we spent at the gym, how much cardio / weights we did, etc.? Might be motivating.

I'll do that DAVA!!!!

I used to go to ww also. I just follow the points system on my own now. Once you start it sticks with you. I lost 18lbs and have been maintaining it since!!!

Re: anyone on a diet?

I wish i didnt have to lose anymore.. But I am only 4'11 and I weigh 140. I would like to lose 15 more pounds, and I'll be happy..

For Bfast I had a special k bar and 2 clementines.

Re: anyone on a diet?

I had two homemade chocolate chip cookies and a cup of coffee.

My dad made me an eggsalad sandwhich for lunch with light mayo on light white bread so that shouldn't be so bad.
