I was here in 1999/2000 for my previous engagement. (Do I win?) Don't remember my name then.
Then came back for my current one. (Jan 03)
I can't remember anyones names from when I was on first. I do remember a Karen maybe? No Kate!... she had a gorgeous hydrangea bouquet I was dying to have.

How about as a vendor? I remember when this site got started. And I have pretty much been lurking ever since sorry. I know when most have you got married Now that im not a vendor anymore I post

Ive been here a while, and Im not even getting married anymore!! I was not going to give up this site and chatting with a great group of people just because the wedding wasnt going to happen.

hey Marissa - I am an oldie who is still around... I remember meeting you at the very first NYC GTG (at least what I think was the first) - I think NYLisa helped to organize it. I had just gotten married and I remember you were asking about my makeup person! Who knew that night I would meet some of my new very good friends that night........

I have been around since 7/01 when I first got engaged... And I still havent broken 1000 posts!!!! In the beginning I was a lurker, then I got really busy with wedding plans and work and now I come on occassionally when free time at work allows!!!

I remember Kel was one of the first people that answered my questions about John Anthony's!!

I was just curious. I know the site started many years ago. I myself joined 9/02 (my name changed- uses to be Sept20yay!). Is anyone still around who was a member then? Who is the furthest back member? I know a lot of people left and some people stopped posting and lurk, but just wondering...

I've been on here since ( ) March 1999. I was at one of the very first GTG's (we had it at Borders over in Garden City). I used to be Shamee in another life. I'm still personal friends w/one of the original posters (Jamellew). Can you believe there was still drama back then? Mark Kaufman used to be able to post on the brides forum. Actually I think there was only one forum at that time. The format is so different from back then...I was asking the other night why I don't 'move on' but honestly I'm bored at work most days and it's comfortable, it's home...
