I'll be here three years in January... funny thing is when I joined I was living at home and we had dial up internet service on an old computer so it took forever to post, so I hardly ever did. Once I got married and had DSL I definitely started posting more.

I think i found the site right before my wedding, like prob 8/02. My name got lost along the re-launch tho (it was catchL22, close!). Its fun to kill some lunchtime downtime, once in a blue moon i pop on to see what's going on....

I think I joined in March 02 under a different name but had Ron change it.

I remember that GTG in the Italian restaurant in Midtown. Niecey, I accosted you that day about your make up person. Your makeup was great at your wedding. There have been so many cool moments on this board.

What now, I remember a whole fiasco with your wedding. The board was in an uprising because RCC closed like the month before your wedding or something and never told you! Everyone was trying to help out! Frantically!

Oh and, remember that idiot videographer that went to jail and we helped to bust him like magnum PI. ... The good old days.




When I got here, you had brides helping brides, newleyweds and grooms helping grooms (never got used). No homes, parenting, 2003, 2004, 2005, all the other boards.... Those are all fairly new.

I have been on since 6/01, but this is my first job with internet access which is why I am now posting. I would always chk in at home, but to work with it on during the day is so different

Yes member since 10/02 I know it say wedding newbie LIW is fixing it for me- I had to re-register due to email change but they are changing it back. this site is great, lots of great people here too, The ones I remember most were Marcellabella she was awesome with ideas and Shamma too, if anyone remembers them. Tarakinspa is another who had great ideas. and of course sonicstef. yes michele31 had great ideas and a fab honeymoon to Africa. Wow I know im missing others too, sorry that were here and great too.

BTW my DH started the Grooms Helping Grooms (he begged for it) but b/c it was just him and Matt Hos at the time, they didn't use it and DH stopped posting. Every now and then you'll PunkRockGroom post something!

I discovered this site in 2001, and it looked a lot different than it does now! I lurked for two months before I actually posted, so I guess I've been 'on the site' since May of 2001. After I got married, I didn't log on for 2 years and then when my best friend got engaged, I introduced her to this site, and signed back on as Matron. Funny thing is that I posted like 30 posts under my old name (while I was getting married) and I have like a million now (as a MOH). I think I'm one of the 'oldest' people on here!
