Anyone planning on attending their cocktail hour? MY FI wants to, but I know you are not really supposed to. He feels that we are paying a lot so why not!
Also STD magnets...How are you sending them??? Do they come with a card and envelopes or something to mail with them???
If not, how are you sending them? It just seems odd to throw a mangnet in an envelope with nothing with it.

We will definitely be there! There is no way I am missing that! I can't wait to see our guests enjoying themselves....
As for the STD magnets a friend of mine is sending them out by mounting them to a piece of card stock with sticky tape/tack (whatever) and putting them in the envelope. She bought the cardstock and envelopes along with the magnets from vistaprint.

i recommend going to your CH.. you get to say hi to people and get it over with and also get some food.. the bridal attendant or matre d should already get you food when you get there... BUT i think you should enjoy it.. it is the best part IMO

Why would it be tacky to go to the cocktail hour?
We went to part of ours-we did most of the eating in the bridal suite-took pictures-relaxed for a minute-BUT we made sure we went to the cocktail hour so that we could get the hellos done and enjoy a great part of the reception... all that money I want to enjoy each minute of it!
We didnt spend precious time during the reception going to each table-we had a large wedding and it would have taken too long, I wanted to dance and have fun!

We are defintely atteding our CH! i am looking forward to that part of the night the most! We are taking pictures before the ceremony so we can attend it!!

yes we are attending our CH! This way we can enjoy our reception a little more TOGETHER without having to walk around to all the tables. We will try and talk to a lot of the guests during CH

We're planning on attending our CH. It will be great to mingle, say thanks and take some pics with friends and family.
