Re: Anyone putting cameras on the table?
I'm doing them and on a DIY post, I saw someone posted they did a scavenger hunt with them, so you get some personalized shots as well as some candids! This is how we're doing it.

Everyone I knew had digital cameras too. Only 2 people emailed us pics. That's even after I asked people to please send us pics to share with others.

I'm going to use the kodak ones too.....I found that the two packs are usually really cheap at waldbaums! I know I got a two pack there a few months ago that was only like $3 more than a single!

Re: Anyone putting cameras on the table?
table cameras were a huge waste of money - alot of the photos came out dark and not alot of people used them.total waste of time

Re: Anyone putting cameras on the table?
do it, its fun! i went to a wedding last weekend and heard my cousins talking about how they were disappointed there was no camera to take funny pics.my sister saved the ones that had a lot of pics left over on them and used them over the holidays to fill them up
not professional pics but some tables really have fun with them -- do what you want!

I didn't do them - at the end, there just wasn't enough time or energy, but I kind of wish I had... esp. now that I'm dying for pics from the wedding and those I'd already have.

Re: Anyone putting cameras on the table?
I put one on each table and I got some good, funny and candid shots. Some tables didn't use them at all. Some only took a few pictures. So, I wound up taking all the ones that were barely used on my honeymoon to finish them up.
It was nice to come home and have some immediate pictures.
They are not the greatest pictures, some are dark, some are blurry, but some came out nice and they are a lot of fun to look at.
My bridesmaids did a fabulous job, taking really cool and unique pictures (even of themselves). They were a blast!

Re: Anyone putting cameras on the table?
my cousin had cameras on every table (i think two on each) and people took pics of the food, they took pics of the floor and random things and some got really stupid and went into the bathroom to try and get pics of people peeing. she said it was a complete waste of money for the cameras and then to get them developed (she collected them at the end of night and had them done herself). i have another friend who did the same thing but she let people take them home-- she got 2 out of the 20 back and the people didn't even get them developed for her.i'm not doing it for these reasons-- i wish i could say that my guests would take cute, candid pics but i know they won't and it will just be a waste of time and money-- and table space. so i'm leaving everything picture wise up to my photog-- that's why i hired him, JMO.

yes, i can understand the need for some instant photos-- but then i would just give a camera or two to a close relative who's older and maybe won't be acting crazy or dancing a lot-- and ask them to take some pics with the cameras of (and name whatever you want taken)... and then at least you have some instant pics and you aren't spending crazy money and have to worry about collecting and developing 20++ cameras.
so that's a good idea-- like getting the best of both worlds and it's easy
HTH!!!
