my great grandmother lived with my parents and I (2 family house) I learned a lot of great superstions and just as Wacky said, they are fun.

My FI proposed to me on Friday the 13th.

We hang the rosary on the clothes line. betcha I am, I don't want rain the day I get married and it has worked like a charm for everyone I know

Someone told me hanging red underwear in a tree the night before your big day would keep the rain away...
Guess what was hanging in my tree on the evening before my wedding? Yep, a brand spanking new red thong!!

Please....I did both of these before my weedding(10/12) and it POURED!!!! It was of no use...if it's going to rain, it's going to rain!! And hey....'it's ggod luck!' (God was I tired of hearing that!!)

My Mother said to put the Infant/Child of Prague statue outside. It rained all day at my sisters wedding EXCEPT for when we were outside!!! VERY FREAKY!!!

I will have my Infant of Prague out on my patio the night before!

I will do all of those superstitions-I am from an Italian family and it is customary to do that anyway-if it works great, if not, no harm in trying...

The day before my wedding it poured and they were saying it was going to continue till the next day. So, I hung my invitation in the window and picked up my rosary beads from my desk draw at work (knew they were in there for a reason) and hung them as well in the window. The morning of my wedding it was still lightly raining. By the time my hair was done it had stopped. The end of our ceremony it began to rain briefly followed by a double rainbow.
