Has anyone registered at Target, and had any problems? I thought I had heard that people had issues in the past, but they do have some of the stuff we want to register for, at cheaper prices than our Macy's registry. Thanks!

Re: Anyone register at Target?
We registered at Target last weekend and we had no problems. We also registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Re: Anyone register at Target?
My issue was a lot of stuff was no longer available and unlike Fortunoff & Pottery Barn, we didn't get notified.
Also a lot of stuff did not get taken off when it was purchased. I got TWO HUGE HEAVY backyard gazebos that we had to lug back to return.

I heard if you return you can only use the credit in that department at the store--is that true? Thanks!

I believe that is only when you do not have a receipt (I tried to return a photo album I got at my shower - not on my registry & they said I could get a different one only - gee, thanks!). We had the packing list and also because it was on our registry, we got back $$ on a gift card.

My favorite thing about the BB&B registry is that you can return things for cash.

Re: Anyone register at Target?
My cousin (who is like my sis) did & the only advice she had for me is register there at the last min. She ended up going back 1 mo before the bridal shower to re-register almost 3/4 of the items b/c most were no longer carried. They just have a VERY quick turn around time for product lines. That was the only complaint I've heard.

Re: Anyone register at Target?
I dont know why everyone had a problem with things being discontinued. I never had that problem once and I was registered there for 2 years.
I loved my registry there but my MOH didnt tell people about it so I didnt get as much as I wanted. Like I said before about this, I love how I was able to register for everything from cups and dishes to extension cords and brinks safe. The dishtowels are really cheap there too so I got all those I registered for in a big basket from my SIL.
I can't stand it when I see registeries at BBB (even though I regsitered there) or Fortunoffs and the EXACT same Kitchenaid spatula etc is half price at Target. I hate the idea of paying 10 bucks for a spoon. Sorry that was vent.

We registered at Target & Fortunoff's. I know alot of people have had problems with them but it's a store that can fit any budget plus Target is our favorite store!!!!

Re: Anyone register at Target?
i agree with target fitting every budget thats why i registered there and i didnt have a problem with them. my aunt actually got my microwave thats was 89.99 for 29.99 because it was listed wrong on my registry lol. i didnt want to be like my cousin who registered at fortunoffs and macys and there was nothing under 60 dollars. but she is whole different story she actually registered for expensive things that she knew she didnt want so that she return them and buy clothes and expensive pocketbooks lol. i swear lol
