Re: Anyone remember this???
OMG!!! YES!!!!
I was totally OBSESSED with that show when I was little!!!!! I wanted to LIVE there in the Magic Garden with Paula and Carole!!! I remember getting excited when half-day kindergarten (1979-1980) was over each day b/c I could go home to watch Magic Garden. And every tree I drew had a black hole in it..... for Sherlock the squirrel.
For those who don't remember this, or were too young at the time, it was a local show on WPIX Channel 11 in NYC that was written and performed by 2 entertainers/early childhood teachers.
Every so often, on Z-100 the Z Morning Zoo people talk about them. A few years ago, one of the TV stations did a 2 hour retro special over Thanksgiving weekend and showed clips from episodes. It was like being in a time warp!! In retrospect, yes, it's majorly cheesy, but as a kid, I loved it!!
