Anyone resize their ring and thought it felt funny afterwards?
I just got my ring resized and now I swear that it feels funny - my finger I mean. I think it's too small maybe? There's also a mark on my finger when I take the ring off. The jeweler said that that was normal, that I was used to having it too big and that as long as it fits over my knuckle it's fine, as is the mark, and that if it still feels funny in a few days he'll resize it back up. I think maybe I'm being paranoid, but I'm not sure. Anyone ever have this happen, or have a new ring feel funny on your hand?

no mine was too big and we had it resized... it fit sooo perfect like a glove!! after 5 min or so I completly forgot I was wearing it... never bothered me at all

I had mine resized too. At first it felt weird but that was because it finally fit. Now I hardly notice it is there half the time. You were just used to it fitting the other way. You will see that it is better now once you get used to it.

I had a brand new ring resized larger (not my ering). They bent it out of shape when they did it. I bought it home and it just felt funny. It fit fine, but I knew something was wrong. When I held it up to the light, I could see the one side was not rounded anymore. It was a totally diffeent shape from the other side. There was also a odd scaping mark on that side. (I had not noticed this in the light of the store.) I had to bring it back to the store. They gave me a new one.
Could this be the same thing with yours? Good luck.

no i never did this. But is anyone else so paranoid about the diamond that they look at it fifty million times a day like me? I don't wear it to my part time job and I don't wear it when I work out I feel like I never wear it but I don't want to ruin it. It is still as shiny and clean as the day I got it and I want it to stay like that.

I leave it off alot too. I hate when it gets all messy.

I never got it resized....but it feels really loose..on my finger--during the winter months. It does not swing side to side, but for sure during the summer time it will feel just right. I HATE THAT!!!!
I never like to wash my hands with it on. I hope I NEVER FORGET IT on the bathroom counter.

When I got my e. ring it used to spin around my knuckle- especially in the cold. It was loose. My jeweler put 2 small balls in the ring and it now stays put. They sauter (pardon spelling) them in. You may want to try that without cutting ring.
As far as making the ring bigger ask your jeweler to stretch the band. Mine had to do that for fh band.
