I learned when I was away on my honeymoon and my husband is a extreme surfer all over the place doing it so I'm gonna be starting out here on the Island this summer wondering if there were any other surfer chicks here!!

hee hee...i have a board that is way to big for me. one day, i went out when i shouldn't have and my board hit my eye and gave me a small black eye. i have a shark fear but love the water. every summer, i vow that i will finally stand up.

I used to a long LONG time ago. I got thrown into some rocks while surfing during a Noreaster (duh)..that was pretty much it for me.

I went surfing in Hawaii. I can't wait to do it again. Ray goes surfing sometimes on LI with a 1 foot wave. I want to surf more often but that means I need more vacations!

DH surfs and says he's going to teach me each year. Maybe this year will be the one. I have a cousin he surfs with too...maybe I'll try with them out at Montauk this year (family has summer homes out there :) )
