WOW! 12 years? That is awesome! But, I could imagine how comfortable you guys are- that's great.

Another funny story-

FH and I were friends since high school. He used to fart in front of everyone back then. Then we started dating. He wouldn't fart in front of me. I told him 'Pat, it's alright- go ahead- you did it all the time back then.'

I regret it. LOL. Hell broke loose and it was the longest fart ever.

FH has crohns disease, I have the beginngngs of collitis...when we have to go...we hvave to go...i don't care who is around!


And please, he is marrying you...he will see and hear more disgusting things than farts! It will be a long and painful marriage for you if you dont poop or fart around him!

I'm going on 8 and that feels like forever!!!

So yeah same way with me...everything went out the window and the holes in the body after about the 2nd year...so If I gotta, I'm going that is what they made air freshners for or matches. Sometimes I can not believe how much gas a male can have!

Don't hold it in ladies!!!! He'll love you either way.


Although I must say that my parents have been married 32 years and NEVER not even once has my father heard my Mom fart...I don't think it's humanly possible but honestly I belive her.

Well..... i held it in till just now, FH went to home depot! haha. I know you girls say its a terrible thing, but i JUST CAN'T DO IT! He farts and tells me he has to 'horse' when he goes to the bathroom which is nasty, but funny sometimes. I wish i was like you girls...really! He is a cop, and drives aroound all day, if he happens to be driving and he has to fart, he locks the windows on his partner so he gets stuck smelling it! He is nasty!

Ohhh pleease...that situation hasn't really come up with us in person probably because we don't live together..but sometimes nature calls over the phone and I tell him I have to go and he starts laughing at me ...plus I'm a very gassy girl, so he's used to me being an unfeminine slob TMI, I know

Reading all your posts I was just thinking - my FH is actually the one who gets embarassed if I hear him in the BR - he puts the tv on really loud so I won't hear anything. Sometimes I go next to the door and just start laughing at him (I act like the 5 yr old - which is quite rare for me). One say you just have to do it with him near you and maybe it will help you get more comfortable.

Speaking of holding it in- I have a story.

When I was going to Nassau, I used to be afraid to poop in public bathrooms. One day, I held it in for like 6 hours. My stomach was KILLLING me! I was sitting in class and I started crying. I couldn't walk. I couldn't move. They had to get a wheelchair for me. They took me to the nurse. She gave me Pepto and I went home. I pooped and felt better.

This is the prime example of why you DON'T HOLD IT IN

hahaha, its better to be on the phone when you are pooping then when you are peeing bc noone can hear you poop!!!

this is the funniest thread ever. FH and I have farting contests and we giggle at each others 'toots' we also poop when we are around each other...

funny story: before we pooped in front of each other, we went to the olive garden and after we were done, i really had to go poop...soo i told him to speed home bc i have to pee!!! but w-eva i dont think he knew, and if he did, who cares :)
