My shower is not until July but if I am lucky enough to get my George Foreman grill I will use that bad boy the same night LOL

I dont see why you should wait! as you long as you haev thanked your guest the gift is yours for the using!

we're definitely already using some stuff! like our flatware, glasses, toaster... you name it, we're so excited to use it!! hee hee... i don't see why you have to wait! i say go for it! :o) carpe diem!

I've used some- bedding, salad bowls, my electrolux dustbuster/stick vac combo<3 it btw

Other things, not yet...only because I haven't switched out my old dishes and things like that...we already have been living together for a year

We have used our engagement gifts already- I do not see any harm in using your new stuff before the wedding.

we did...we figure we are living together 'in sin' which is 'breaking tradition' so why wait to use the generous gifts?

Okay so before we were against using anything because we really wanted to start off our wedding with new stuff. BUTTTTTT we just got a new vacuum and we really needed one so we used it the minute we got it LOL!!! If you need it now, totally use it
