I think I will have it as my next to last song... I want One More Time..a more upbeat song to end the night with.. but I absolutely want to have that song at my wedding

MY FH and I love that song. I think we'll have it played during the evening because I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to enjoy it, and you never know if people may leave early.

We are using that song as our last song. I let my Dad listen to it last night and he actually suggested it for the DAD/DAUGHTER dance but I would cry my eyes out.

Yes I'm probably going to fit it in during our church ceremony.

I hate that song.BUT... My sis had it as her last song, and everyone always comments on how much they love it...
You can take the girl out of classic rock, but you can't take the classic rock out of the girl..
Edited to say last song, not first dance..DUH!

Wow! I didn't realize that so many others thought of using it as the last song...

The reason I was thinking of using it was because it means Time to Say Goodbye

That's just what the English version says, it really means 'I will go with you'....or maybe now that I think of it, 'I will part with you.' I'm not sure..i'm rusty

On a band video, I saw this played on flute during a ceremony and I fell madly in love with it. I'm hoping to be able to do that!

I am definately playing it at the reception, but I don't know if I want it for the last song yet. I think I may want to end with a more upbeat song and maybe has this sung during dinner.

There is a semi english version of this song. It's 'Time To Say Goodbye' by Sarah Brightman (phantom of the opera fame) and Andrea Bocelli. It's just as good as Con Te Partiro. I think we're going to use it as our last song.

I know we are having the song played, however I do not know when. I do know, however, that it will not be last.

I am defintely doing that song. I love it and the way my band sings it I would be foolish not to. I think I would like if they did it more in the beginning of the evening but not sure how it works - havent gotten up to that part yet with them.

I want my Bridal Party to walk into an instrumental version for the ceremony.
