Subject: Offer: Cat-Bellmore-Help!
I can't believe I have resorted to this, but I really do not want this
cat to end up in a shelter-
It's a she, her name is Mickey & she's got to be about 4+ years old-
she's got brown, white, grey stripes mixed. She was given to my
brother in law about 2-3 years ago when her 1st owner went into an
elder care facility & he needed help in his rental apt with a
mice/insect situation.
My brother in law has since moved in w/his girlfriend & she is
allergic to her- & he doesn't seem to be getting a new girlfriend any
time soon.
I don't know her whole story, but I don't think she is used to being
around other cats lately, (while he has had her) but was before he
owned her & she is definitely a loner or lonely & not a cuddle cat-
more like a loner, who just got used to him as her owner petting her
in the last year.
I cannot handle another one- Too many allergy pills as it is now - we
have had a Main Coon for almost 2 1/2 yrs now that we took in & we
just added 2 ferals to the house- we were planning on TNR, but my
fiancee grew attached too quickly & the 'R' for return never happened!
So, no actually, I really can't handle another one & therein lies my
problem.
I fear a shelter would not socialize her, so I am coming to you guys
for help, if this sad story post gets through!
If not, I understand!!
She has been left alone pretty much all the time lately, as he has
been staying at his girlfriends, so she is definitely aware that
something is up! and she is lonely-
ANyone out there interested in a cat? With litter box, food, dishes,
etc.<
Any suggestions appreciated!!!!
