Anyone want to come to my wedding?

I know this is a wierd request, but I remember seeing a post about inviting one another to our weddings so that some girls may get to see the vendors or hall that they are wanting to book. I figured I'd throw and invite out there for people as I talked with my FI and he is fine with inviting girls from this board to the wedding. We are about 8 people short on our guest list and guaranteed 150. So if anyone wants to come to the Watermill on July 4th let me know!

my wedding is from 12:30-6 on July 4th. Ceremony and Reception at the watermill.

That is so nice of you to offer. Do the ladies that attend have to give monetary gifts or their presence there is gift enough. Hope you have a wonderful wedding day.

Thats so nice of you. I wish we could go! Watermill is outstanding (thats where we had our reception). I always tell DH that I want to go to a Wedding there so we can eat at the CT hour.

All the best to you. Dont worry about a thing with Watermill they are true professionals everything will be perfect.

Shamma and Jennbaby - I think she is simply short of her minimum so like some of the girls on the wedding channel have done - they ask if people want to go so that they aren't paying money for no reason - I don't think she expects people to pay to go:EM06:

I mean exactly what I asked, not an admission to get in, but does she expect a monetary gift from the ladies that are helping her to make up her head count, I am sure it is a fair question. If I was going I would like to know. What if I want to go but can't afford to give a gift. I want to know. I am sure if everyone is honest, this question crossed their minds.

Just out of curiosity, are you inviting children? If not, why not invite them and their babysitters so the parents could enjoy the party.

Karen, I wish I could help, but my parents are having a day-before-the-wedding BBQ at their house on the fourth. It looks like there are enough ladies here who would love to come and help you out so you wont be wasting money.

I hadn't thought about the gift aspect until Shamma pointed it out. Maybe that is because I am close to not making my minumum (but still waiting on some responses ) and have been thinking about what I am going to do if I dip below.

What we need to do is get a list of 'Wedding Ringers', kind of like a tag team for when someone on here goes below their minimum We can have pagers and when we're needed we'll toss on a dress and shoes that we keep in the trunk and go as fillers

Karen - That is no nice of you. I'm getting married at the Watermill in November. I know a lot of girls already responded, but if you are still short shoot me a FM I would defiantely come.

count michael and I in i send you an fm with all the info. im so excited im glad rachel and her fiance jt are going too. i love weddings and it helps us come up with ideas for songs and different things. are u registered anywhere?

Wow, that is so nice of you girls. I got so many responses. For those of you that mentioned you'd want to go, I'll let you know tomorrow (wednesday). Some of the things that I was doing for extras are (that only a liweddings bride can appreciate):

Table names (names of cities that FI and I have been to and pictures of us at the cities on each table).

I made my own placecards. I used White paper and cut it so that they have scalloped edges and glued on top of orchid color paper. Printed on my computer in script.

I made my own programs.

Made individual menus for everyone on their plate.

My cake should be a little different as I'm having the florist put candles on it. Hopefully it will look pretty.

I love my MC and DJ...gave them a HUGE play list.

For the ceremony we're having a harpist and my friend is singing.

I can't think of anything else right now. But I definitely did a lot of extra work on the details. My FI thinks I'm crazy, but I think it will be nice!
