ok, it's 45 days away for me, and my arms still look I've lost my motivation to lose weight at totally the wrong time!

FH encouraged me to return to my former ways and exercise everyday and cut down on carbs a bit... it's 45 days and I can do it! It would be amazing if I could lose about 7 lbs before the big day...

anyone want to join an exercise support thread?

what we'll do:
why don't we report in to this thread EVERYDAY with our triumphs (exercising, stuck to diet), and our mishaps (eating cheese fries, not exercising...)
That way we can pull each other up when we begin to slide.....

the arms are the first place you lose weight on so you can do it...This is what my big problem is, my arms are the first place i gain weight on and even too big for my body...So ive been working them out like crazy. Doing weights, incorporating boxing, using the pilates ball to do push ups used to do with the ball and using the weights with the ball too. You can definitely do it. Even if you do 30 mins a day you will see big results...Whats 30 mins of the day, not alot and it can get you to your goal. You can definitely get to your goal...Good luck

I always tell people about Exercise on demand, they have such great exercises on there, its a great channel...Tamilee webb has great workouts, its called 'i want those arms'

I've got the whole diet / exercise regiment nailed... for me it's just a matter of motivation....

It's really important to cut down on carbs... but it's also unrealistic and unhealthy to eliminate them.
The best thing to do is to cut the amount of carbs you eat everyday in half.... one meal is practically no carb, and the other is relatively normal.

The other thing that makes a big impact is they TYPE OF CARBS. Pasta and sugary drinks are ground zero.... they should reallyy be eliminated if possible, because you can consume a lot w/o even realizing it.
I've switched to yams and plantains (they're sweet, so they really hit the spot... just don't eat 2 of them!), and also some really good whole wheat bread... I also get honest tea and inkos tea, which are really yummy and have much less sugar than something like snapple.... Inkos is under 60 calories a bottle. (you can get them at fairway in plainview)

I LOVE this thread, b/c I feel like I'm alone in my quest. The exercise on demand shows are awesome-I tell everyone- AND they're free!! I usually do the abs and thighs.

this is what I need!

Okay, I'll start... my biggest weakness is food. I love to eat. I don't get to exercise and know that I should but I'm so busy or lazy lately... So in terms of food so far today...

Breakfast
Water
Luna Bar

Lunch
Water
Salad (the usual - lettuce, broc, peppers, kidney beans, chick peas, asparagus and mozz cheese with 1 scoop of balsamic vinagerette)
Diet Coke

I'm really trying girls!

Like someone said b/f you shouldn't eliminate carbs, you need them for energy. You should cut out processed and refined carbs-NO WHITE STUFF!! I've started using whole wheat pasta,WW bread, and brown rice. I eat oatmeal in the am and put flaxseeds in it. I've started eating more often so that when I get to lunch or dinner, I'm not starved. I always have snacks with me- tuna, Fiber one bars, walnuts, etc. Green tea is also metabolism booster and appetite suppressant.
At night, when I need a sweet fix, I'll have a Hostess 100 calorie pack cupcakes w/ a tall glass of skim milk.. (Only 3 grams of fat and 5 grams of fiber which is pretty good.)
For me, I need to be creative b/c I get bored easily.

I know and its so easy...sometimes you only have like 30 mins of your time to dedicate to working out so this way you just put this channel on and do it quickly and then when its over you get right to what you have to do. And such a large variety of workouts
