anyone watching the NYC marathon in queens?

do you know what street they run down? my friend will kill me if i don't come watch her. i was thinking of doing breakfast/brunch in astoria then hopping over to LIC to see them. But I have no idea where they run and there is NOTHING on the website - it s*cks

on the same note, anyone have a good breakfast/brunch place in LIC or astoria? TIA

it really doesn't matter that much - i like breakfast food, FH likes lunch so if it has both that's perfect. where is 718? I'll either take the R to steinway and walk or switch at Queens plaza. Not sure yet.

thanks that would seriously be awesome. my co-worker is running and one of my friends and none of us can find a street by street guide. it's ridiculous! FM me if you find it. Thanks!!

yeah its directly on ditmars...do you know where the sushi place Watawa is? its right by it, but if you take the N to ditmars just go to the corner to ditmars make a right and it will be 3 blocks down on your left hand side.

I also love 718 bc they use truffles and truffle foam for some of their meals and gotta love that

yeah i loved it! FH got mad at me b/c i told him to pick a place for dinner in astoria one friday. so we were supposed to meet at some mex place right by the ditmars stop. i get off the train first and walk around and don't love the look of the mexican place then see l'incontro and am like b/c i've been dying to try it forever so i put our name down. FH gets off the train and is like 'i am NEVER picking a place again - you always do this!'

he's totally right, but I read zagat, he doesn't plus there is like no good italian in my neighborhood.

i want to take my parents there for their anniversary but they've been already. the food was awesome though.
