I really want to get my teeth whitened before my wedding but don't want to do anything that will damage my teeth. My old hygienist said that the only thing you could buy that worked was Crest Whitestrips but that getting a treatment at the office worked better.
My teeth really aren't bad, but I drink a lot of coffee and they look a little less white than I'd prefer.
I know there are a few dental hygienists out here or brides who have gotten it done. Any recommendations? Also, around how much should it cost?
Thanks!

Re: Anyone Whitening Their Teeth?
I would really like to. I've tried whitestrips and they DO work, but I'm too lazy to commit to them. I need a one shot deal. I have no idea where to go though, and I dont know what prices are and Iwoudlnt want to go to a consultation and be embarassed when I found out that I could afford the service.

Re: Anyone Whitening Their Teeth?
I used the Aquafresh white trays and they are amazing! I have had several people ask me how I keep my teeth so white. Little do they know... I like them better thant he whitestrips because they don't shift around as much, they go on for 45 minutes once per day for 3 or 7 days, which is less than the white strips. I had a friend who spent bucco $$$$ getting hers done by the dentist. Honestly, the result is pretty much the same, but for a much smaller price.
If you do want to go somewhere, a few girls on here went to Laser Plus Spa in Bellmore ( I think that's the name). They were running a special at the time for $99. They seemed to have had good experiences.

Re: Anyone Whitening Their Teeth?
I was looking at a few things on the boards and it seems like some brides spent $$$ going to a dental place. Just not on the priority list for me right now (it's not like I'm going to stop drinking delicious coffee so it would have to be redone no matter what). But I could swing $99 for that place in Bellmore...
How much does getting it done hurt? How much do white strips hurt?
The most pain I can take for beauty is plucking my eyebrows.
