Anyone with a huge wedding party????
I have not including fh and myself 21 people in my wedding party. I am trying to figure out the limo situation for the parents and the wedding party. I don't want everyone to be squished. Do the parents get seperate limos? How does it usually work?

Re: Anyone with a huge wedding party????
Ok, I had this SAME situation. Here's what we did: rather than make my parents pay for a limo (because, hell, they are paying enough as it is), we got two 14 passenger limos to accomodate everyone. So me, my dad, my mom and my girls will all go in my limo and JT and the guys will go in the other limo. It's not that important to me to ride alone with my dad to the ceremony or alone with JT after the ceremony. I just wanted to get from point A to B. The limo place thought this was the best, most economical choice as well. Otherwise, if you get a ton of cars, there's so much shuffling and sorting of people. It gets confusing. I feel comfortable with my decision.

Re: Anyone with a huge wedding party????
Why don't you get a party limo bus and you and your parents can get a different limo.

My parents are not going in a limo at all. Except when my dad rides with me to the church. We got a Rolls for us and a 22 passenger escalade for the 17 members of the bridal party.

We are in the same situation and we are thinking about getting an Excursion which should fit everyone. I am a little skeptical though because some limo companies websites show that it can fit up to 30 people and others say it fits 24. Has anyone else encountered the same thing?

Re: Anyone with a huge wedding party????
we just looked at cars today-- we are getting a 28 passenger limbusine.. we have 18 people inc. us and BP. We figured the extra room would be good in case parents needed to come, or if the photographer wanted to take a couple pics on the bus, etc.

I have about the same amount of people in my BP and we are getting one of those Party buses.. Just to eliminate the possiblilty of people being uncomfortable.

Re: Anyone with a huge wedding party????
i say definately do the limo bus - that is what we are doing -- i was in a wedding in august - and they had the excursion - and there was only 17 of us and we were squiched in there beyond belief - it was horrible being in their like taht for colse to an hour as we drove to the watermill - it is so tight that your knees hit the person across from you ---- and one guy had to sit on the cooler!!!in addition to the limo bus we are getitng a 14 passenger limo (which i will at first go wih my dad to the church in) and then after that will take both sets of parents to the reception hall

We went with 3 cars. We got a 14 passenger limo for BP (12 of them), and Rolly for Fh and me, and a 10 passenger limo for our parents, FG, RB and RB's parents.

Re: Anyone with a huge wedding party????
I have 21 people plus me and FH. We got the Mega Party Bus that holds 45. We are going to put parents in the bus as well since it is big enough. We also got an Excaliber to transport me and mom to church. I am getting on the bus after the church...afterall...that's where the party is at!Oh, my parent's are divorced so dad and his wife got a seperate limo since he wants no part of the bus.
Go to Royalty limo, they have the best bus around, believe me...I shopped around.
