Anyone's FH

working in the city right now and driving out to LI later?

FH is stuck at Penn Station!

My FH is working right now, not in the city, but just in general. His story is nothing short of an adventure either, and he is in a poopy mood.

He is FDNY so he started a 24 hour shift last night, he works in Bed-Stuy. Went in a couple of hours earlier just to beat the snow, and he was sent out to Williamsburg. Had to drive in the middle of the storm last night around 630pm to get there. The night was crazy, rescued people from stuck subways, buses, stuck ambulances, and even had to dig out their own truck when it got stuck. He was then sent to another firehouse in the morning, and a ride that should have taken 15 minutes took 4 hours. The roads were impassible and he couldn't make it to the firehouse he was sent to, so he just went back to his, where there was a woman giving birth because she couldn't get to the hospital or an ambulance!!!! Poor FH, he is not in a good mood. He gets off work at 6, and now doesn't even think he has enough gas to get home =(

i bet, which is why i didn't even attempt to make it into the city. i knew it'd be a nightmare trying to get home.
