Hi ladies - need your input.. No lie - FH has left everything up top me - he wants it to be my day etc. and is happy with everything I've told him. With one exception...I love my hair up in a bun. My dress is a beautiful A line beaded strapless gown. My friends love my hair up. My family loves it up. We are very old fashioned and traditional. Unfortunately FH hates preppy and wants my hair down and sexy. He thinks somehow my hair will look like Jessica Simpson's and I've tried to explain that most of us don't have her amazing locks
So any of you guys dealing with this? I don't know - I feel like my hair will look pretty for about 10 minutes if I have it down or in a half up do....and then will totally be a mess if I have it down....what do you guys think? Any pics of a compromise? I welcome your suggestions.

Yeppppppppp!!! FH thinks that I look like a librarian with my hair up lol He wants it all out... and I def. agree- I think I look better with it all out... but since I am getting married in the Summer- I was debating on whether I wanted it up or not. Now it's def going to be down.... even if I am sweating my a$$ off lol

yesss!!! fh doesnt want my hair down cuz he thinks it always covers my face, soooo we compromised on half up half down (or more like 3/4 down lol).... maybe try something like this one.... its pretty much up but has that loose curl thats kinda down too
dont mind the weird hair color lol, its just to get an idea of what im saying
That's funny because my FH always likes my hair up for some reason. I just think it's easier that way for the wedding day, especially since my hair doesn't hold curls very well and tends to get frizzy. Maybe you could put it back but with long curls coming down the back. That way its still hanging down a little but also out of the way.

fh thinks i should wear my hair down or at least half up half down, but i went for a trial over the summer for a wedding i was going to and the half up looked nice but i wouldn't want it for my wedding so i'm def going with my hair up and i don't care what he says

So glad to know I'm not the only one...it's so funny. If it is gross out (rainy or hot), it will totally be up because I can't deal with bad hair day shenanigans. But he really would love it down so I'm going to have some trials and see what we can do. He seriously has not cared about any of the choices until this. He's adamant about it. It's kind of funny to me.

guys are so funny. i wore my hair half up/half down with extensions. when i told DH i was getting extensions he was so upset! i couldn't believe that would be the one thing he would have an opinion about. he thought i would look 'fake' and as much as i explained that it would just blend into my hair, he wouldn't believe it. well, let me tell you that he LOVED my hair the day of! plus.......once your DH sees you in your dress, he is so going to forget all of his opinions he 'thought' he would have about your hair!
if you feel like you should wear your hair up...go for it! while mine was pretty being down and long, it did lose it's curl and drive me crazy half of the day! do what you feel will make you most comfortable :)
