FH and I are buying a dog as our gift to each other after the wedding - we are so excited!
Anyone have one of these guys? We are looking into both, but hear they can be a bit tempermenatl. True?

we have a boston terrier. she is such a sweetie. she loves to give kisses to everyone. and i'm convinced that when she can tell one of us is sad, she comes and sits next to us and tries to give us more kisses.
however, she definitely likes to have her own way. i was not very good at disciplining her when she was a puppy, because she is too cute, so she can be a little naughty. sometimes she gets mad at us for leaving her alone, so she will rip paper from the garbage can. she's not scared to do this, because i never punished her for it. for some reason, she doesn't do this when we go to work, only when we go out to dinner or during the day on weekends.
boston terriers are really smart, and they're really good with kids. i have a bunch of cousins under the age of 10, and they are always playing with her and chasing her, and she is really nice and let's them do anything to her.
i think boston terriers like to run around more than french bulldogs. french bulldogs are so cute. we're thinking of getting one.
anyway, i think boston terriers are the sweetest dogs, and if you get one, it will bring you a lot of happiness. good luck!

Fh has a boston terrier, she is the sweetest thing. She is 7 years old and still as playful as she was when she was a pup. They do love children and I think they have great tempermants.
