okay, here is the deal...we've been looking and have found some real doozies...good apartments, but one had no windows in the bedroom...that freaks me out!!! so, my great aunt is moving and suggested her place. we saw it...great landlady, great spot, awesome neighborhood, close to hunt. village (walking distance)...a little yard (told fh i would buy him a gas grill if we take it), small kitchen but with a huge full size frig, hall way, own thermostat, two rooms (bedroom and den, with nice size closets), full bath with a window, rooms have new anderson windows, great price...here are the downs...far from parkway/expressway...which we can deal with...on the smaller side, but we would use the space effectively and use the walls and stuff...plus, we would store unneccesary stuff at fil's house...all in all, a great spot, but i know if we keep looking, we will find something bigger, but i get a good feeling from this one. and the landlady needs to know asap if we want it. do we go for it? i think it would be a nice place to call home...

Re: apartment question
If you like it and it feels like home to you, I say go for it! There are nice apartments out there but most you see are nasty. We found our apartment through someone by chance and couldnt be happier bc I was starting to get nervous we would never find anything that we both liked and was decent. (and I wasnt even trying to be too picky!)

Re: apartment question
I think you answered your own question with nice place to call home and the good feeling. Small is not bad. It is easier to upkeep and keeps you from shopping a lot. You don't plan on being there forever. We store a lot at of our things at both my parents and FIL's houses. It's not a big deal. I say go for it! Being near Hunt. Village will be so much fun! I would love to find something in that area!
